We opened our doors in Bueu in 1983. At first, we only had Padrón peppers and local wine, but little by little we expanded the menu and introduced traditional tapas and pizzas.
Back then, people in the village didn’t know what pizza was, so we explained it to them: it’s like a pie, but without a lid.
Over the years, the restaurant grew, and so did the family. In 2019, the son of the couple who opened O Farol decided to open another restaurant in Vigo, in Praza de Compostela, maintaining the identity and most of the menu.
